History

We are the Leeming Spartan Cricket Club, one of the oldest and most successful cricket clubs in the state of Western Australia.

The Club has a proud history dating back to December 1918, and now, with the 2017/18 season quickly approaching, so too does our 100th anniversary!

Previously known as the Spartan Cricket Club, we were established as a single sided club in 1918 as part of the Churches Cricket Association. Now, as we enter our 99th year of operation, we boast eight senior and approximately a dozen junior sides.

The Club enjoys multi-million dollar facilities at John Connell Reserve in Leeming, Western Australia, which includes our newly built clubhouse, change-rooms, entertainment facilities, and state of the art kitchen. We also have grounds at Trevor Gribble Reserve and Peter Ellis Reserve.

We have sides in the top three grades of our competition, the South Metropolitan Cricket Association, an association that currently comprises more than 25 other clubs, and we regularly challenge for titles in each of these divisions.

The Leeming Spartan Cricket Club offers all players a chance to play Australia's most popular sport, and we look to build upon our solid performance in the new season.
